About

Bethlehem Christian Academy is a school for orphans and impoverished children in Zambia, Africa.  "Bethlehem" means "house of bread."  BCA seeks to bring both physical food and spiritual food the to the children that it ministers to each day of the week.  BCA currently has 115 students between its two schools (BCA George, and BCA Labuto).  We have nearly 200 partners helping us to be the hands and feet to  "the least of these."  We also have several churches that are actively supporting this ministry.  Please consider partnering with us.  There are children to sponsor right now that you can help! "Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow."

Child in focus:

Skeva Mwansa

Skeva is in the third grade and is twelve years old. He has both parents, but they have jobs farming and are often gone. He is cared for by his older brother. Usually he will get some Nshima at night, and sometimes some vegetables. The care that he has gotten from the school has increased his chances of getting a job tremendously.
